of the population are mostly Sunni Muslims, followed by 9% Christians & 1% who still practice traditional beliefs.
Location : The Gambia is a
country in West Africa. It is surrounded by Senegal, apart from a short strip
of Atlantic coastline at its western end. It is the smallest country on
mainland Africa
PRAYER REQUEST
1. Pray for our small
congregations in The Gambia and for the church leaders to be rooted and
established in Truth.
2. Pray for missionaries in the Gambia as they
face imprisonment with hard labor ,or
delayed Judgement, delayed appeal
and other forms of persecution for spreading the good news of Christ.
3.
Pray for
Christians their human rights and the freedom of religion or belief as a Christian
could be imprisoned for speaking the truth(Christ) and practising his/her faith.
Will be travelliing to the Gambia this week for ECWA organised mission. We pray that more and more people will come to see the light of Christ.
